Foot Clinic

Your feet carry you through about 100,000 steps a week of walking, standing and running. When they hurt, every step becomes a reminder. Heel pain, ankle sprains, flat feet and stiff toes are common and treatable, yet many people ignore them until walking becomes difficult.

The Foot Clinic at Physiovista Healthcare Network treats conditions of the foot and ankle with expert physiotherapy, footwear and orthotic guidance, and movement retraining. We find why your foot hurts, not just where, and help you walk, run and stand comfortably again.

About Our Foot Clinic

The foot has 26 bones and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments that act as shock absorbers and levers. The way your foot lands and pushes off affects your ankle, knee, hip and spine. A weak arch, tight calf, stiff ankle or poor footwear can create pain far from the foot itself.

At our foot clinic, we assess your foot structure, ankle mobility, calf strength, balance and gait, and we study the shoes you wear and the surfaces you use. Our approach is non-surgical and function-based, using manual therapy, targeted strengthening, taping, orthotic advice and technology. We also provide specialised foot care education for people with diabetes.

Visit our Foot Clinic if you have:

Heel pain with your first steps in the morning
Pain in the arch, ball of foot or toes
A recent ankle sprain or repeated ankle rolling

Pain at the back of the heel or in the Achilles tendon

Structured, Step-by-Step Pathway

Our Rehab Process

Every foot care patient at Physiovista follows a structured, step-by-step pathway.

01

Complete Foot and Gait Assessment

We examine foot posture, ankle and toe mobility, calf and foot muscle strength, balance and walking or running pattern, and check your footwear.
02

Diagnosis and Goals

You will understand what is causing your pain and what you need to do to recover, with goals such as walking pain-free in the morning or returning to running.
03

Pain Relief

We use soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, taping, electrotherapy and activity guidance to calm the painful area.
04

Mobility and Flexibility

We restore ankle and big toe movement and lengthen tight calf and plantar tissues through stretching and manual therapy.
05

Strengthening and Load Building

Foot and ankle muscles, calves and hips are strengthened using progressive exercises, which is the key to long-term relief for conditions like plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendon pain.
06

Balance and Gait Retraining

We improve balance, ankle stability and walking or running technique to reduce overload.
07

Footwear, Support and Prevention

We advise on appropriate footwear, insoles and orthotics, and give you a maintenance plan.

Please bring the shoes you wear most often, including work and sports shoes, as they tell us a lot.

Self-care tips: avoid walking barefoot on hard floors if you have heel pain, replace worn-out shoes, stretch your calves daily, build up walking or running distance slowly and check your feet every day if you have diabetes or reduced sensation.
